Leopold Mozart (1719–1787)

Violinist, composer and pedagogue at the court of Salzburg, Leopold Mozart (1719–1787) published in 1756 a violin method that became a reference. He also taught his children Nannerl and Wolfgang. The famous Toy Symphony was long attributed to him, but its authorship remains debated: the name Edmund Angerer is frequently put forward today.
